Eleven pairs of golfers competed yesterday at Kirriemuir Golf Course in the Angus Federation round of the golf competition. Played as a greensomes, everyone had a great day (despite the weather) on a beautifully kept course in a stunning setting. The winners of the overall competition were Judy Goodfellow (Auchterhouse) and Valona Gouck (Aldbar) and runners up were Diane Langlands and Joan Donaldson from Kilry. Karen Stephen (Auchterhouse) won the longest drive and Judy Goodfellow the nearest the pin competitions. Very well done!

The winning and runner up pairs will represent Angus at the National Final at Shishkine Golf Course, Isle of Arran on Tuesday 27th August 2019. We wish them well for a successful trip.
