Kirriemuir SWI have placed a display in the Gateway to the Glens Museum showing some events and artefacts from their 100 year history. It will be there till the end of September so why dont you pop along and see it?
This year Kirriemuir SWI had their outing ‘at home’. They enjoyed a visit to the Tayside Police Museum where they heard lots of fascinating stories about policing in the area in the past and enjoyed seeing uniforms and equipment which brought back memories. Next they went to the Gateway to the Glens Museum to see the exhibition commemorating 100 years of the Rural in Kirriemuir and ended the afternoon with afternoon tea at the Thrums Hotel.
