Kirriemuir is the 2nd oldest institute in the Angus Federation. On 10th October they held their 100th Birthday party. To celebrate this special event they were delighted to welcome Linda Retson our National President, Maureen Macleod our Angus Federation chairman, May Kidd a former National and International President of A.C.W.W., Elma Dickens Angus H&H convener and Valona Gouck our Federation secretary . Guests from neighbouring institutes of Northmuir, Westmuir, Padanaram,Cortachy, Memus and Airlie were present. With members and former members of Kirrie Rural, we enjoyed a superb meal served by Alison Beattie and we were entertained by the Northmuir choir and friends. A great celebration of our special day.
