Silvie & Ruthven centenary year was celebrated on 12th October 2020 at Pitcrocknie Coffee House and Restaurant. President Rona Nicolson extended a warm welcome to 30 members and special guest Angus Federation President, Allison Stewart.
Cathy Ford gave a humorous and illustrative talk reflecting over the ‘rural’s’ old times and charming the guests with designer clothes through the ages .
A special letter from Balmoral Castle was received that said, ‘The queen sends all of you her good wishes on the occasion of this special anniversary’ .
The century cake was cut by Mrs Emma Robertson who is an honorary member of Silvie & Ruthven SWI.
