Many of you will have read of the death of Susan Belton in the Courier. She died suddenly, but peacefully, at home on Saturday 16th January 2021.
She is pictured here winning the silver salver in the North of Scotland Ladies Handicap Championship in 2004. She was an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the SWI in Angus. She served on the Executive Committee for many years as the Golf Convener. She brought the Angus Federation golf competition to her home club of Kirriemuir GC where she was a past Lady’s Captain.
Susan was a long standing member of Northmuir SWI for 40 years. She served on the Institute’s Committee many times, and was their Entertainments Convener most recently. Susan represented Northmuir in the golf competition and the choir for many years and often took the door money at the Federation Show. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
