Your Federation executive committee thought it might be useful for Institute Office Bearers, and especially those new to the job, to get together to hear a little about the structure of the SWI at Federation and National level and hear what the Federation needs from then and what as a federation we can offer. The evening was attended by over 80 Institute Office Bearers who heard a short presentation on the structure of the SWI and then broke into groups by role to exchange ways of doing things and hear what the Federation needs. The feedback from this evening was very positive.

It was suggested by our younger office bearers that a similar training event would be beneficial for ladies before they take office, so that they will confidently put themselves forward as office bearers.
